what from “masking comics” chapter 4 helped your with your self portrait series?

For photographic self portrait series, there were 2 things from chapter 4 helped me.
First is the point of view ( angle of the picture). When I was taking pictures of objects and environments, I was thinking about overall composition. Also I tried to change perspective by lowering and raising the camera. Because by changing perspective the same images can look very different.
Another thing I thought about was how other people’s perspective would be different from mine. When I look at people or objects on the street, I tend to spot things that interest me or things that are familiar to me.
When I was taking pictures, I am the observer and everything around me is from my experience. And that made me realize that’s how every individual have different perspective on things.
