choice of frame :what's the goal of it, why is important?

the goals of choosing frame in comics is to show audience how to story is illustrated.
For example, when you tell a simple story like one person walking, there are many ways to draw frames. And depending on how you want to illustrated the person moving one place to another, you will get various responses from the audience. Frame is also continuous moments of one event. Let’s say one person picks up a key from the ground and open the door in front of him. There are many ways to make frames on this one action. You can draw the person walking in the first frame, then s/he picks up the key. This separation of action can be described by the choice of frame.
